ABOUT ME
Welcome to my corner of the internet! I'm a technical audio designer based in California, specializing in creating immersive sound experiences for video games. My journey in the world of game development has been fueled by a deep passion for sound design, music production, creative implementation, and coding.

My love for sound began at a young age when I was both a musician and an avid gamer. Throughout high school, I split my time between summer camps where I learned how to mod video games and honed my guitar skills while performing in various venues around Chicago. Following my graduation from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production, I ventured into music studios, where I recorded and produced others' music and created my own compositions.

As I delved deeper into the world of sound, I discovered that my musical background provided valuable insights into how audio can inspire and enhance the gaming experience. To further sharpen my skills in video game sound design, I attended the School of Video Game Audio, focusing on audio implementation. I firmly believe in the transformative power of audio to elevate the gaming experience, and I'm committed to bringing that magic to life.
I draw on my musical education to create a tonal story within my sound design. I enjoy creating soundscapes that seamlessly intertwine with the musical composition, adapting in real-time as the player progresses through the game. This could involve introducing harmonic dissonance in the frequency spectrum of a room tone in order to create tension, or synchronizing pitch to the chord progression of the moment, akin to Super Mario Galaxy. These subtle nuances cater to the direction of the game, ensuring an unparalleled sonic experience.

When I'm not working on audio, you can often find me immersed in my backlog of games to catch up on (currently Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom), learning languages, and performing with my guitar. Thank you for stopping by, I'm excited to share my audio adventures with you!
